January is typically a relatively quiet month with respect to revelations about new music on the horizon, hence why we’re thrilled to learn of Caroline Rose’s big news today. The acclaimed singer-songwriter-instrumentalist has announced that her fourth studio album Superstar—the follow-up to her excellent 2018 LP Loner—is set to arrive in stores March 6th via New West Records, as preceded by the video for lead single “Feel The Way I Want.”

“I realized at some point that I’m not going to fit into any one box, and maybe that’s a good thing,” Rose explains in an official statement. “This record is me embracing being an outsider making my own path.”

Rose has also revealed plans for a North American tour that commences March 6th at Albany, NY’s The Hollow Bar + Kitchen and concludes May 3rd at the Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, GA.
