It’s that time of year again, when our very opinionated editorial staff is busy taking stock of the past year in music and tallying up our respective picks for the Best Albums of 2024.

And while we’re excited to reveal our year-end picks within the next few weeks, we want YOU, our readers, to help us determine the final rankings.

Our writers have identified a shortlist of 25 albums that are worthy candidates for album-of-the-year honors, and this list appears below, followed by the respective album streams in case you’d like to listen to each album.

All that we ask of you is to select up to FIVE albums that you believe are worthy of competing for the highest rankings. (Note that all submissions that select more than five albums will be disqualified and will not count toward the consensus voting. So please select a maximum of five albums if you’d like your vote to count!)
